Breanne Clinical Assistant
I started working for Dr.Rampton (my dad) in 1998. It was supposed to be a summer job, but 16 years later I am still here. In 2008, I became the Clinical Coordinator which gave me many extra responsibilities. I continued this position until March of 2011 when I went to part-time after having my first child. In 2011, I also had the great opportunity to start working for Dr. Defay who has so much ambition and energy. I enjoy my job so much because I get to work with people of all ages and help them gain healthy, beautiful smiles that are good for life! Plus, I love to work with my hands! I also do lab work on the weekends.
When time permits, I love to waterski, wakeboard, hunt, fish, play sports, sing, watch football and do yard work. In 2001, I had the opportunity to take a year a half off work to serve a mission for my church in Winnipeg, Canada. I married my best friend and soul mate, Nick, in 2004, and six years later we had our first baby, a boy, and then in 2013 we added our second child, a girl. What a joy they are to our lives! We also have a dog named Jet that we love to hunt with.
Kala Clinic Coordinator
I have been apart of this practice since January of 2012, and did previous assisting for a year before finding this awesome job! I started with this practice as a patient with Dr. Clark Rampton. I was always so impressed with the team and wanted to be a part of it. I love the opportunity we have here to help change smiles and give more confidence to our patients. I became the clinical coordinator in 2013, which has given me many responsibilities. This position has helped me to grow as an assistant, as a person, and as a friend to our patients. I feel like we have a relationship with our patients you won’t just find anywhere! The opportunity to work with amazing patients makes what we do so rewarding as assistants.
I am married to my best friend and we enjoy ALOT of traveling. We love to run, longboard, snowboard, go boating, hike in Moab, and camp in Yellowstone. We are also movie junkies. Most of all, we love to bring out our inner-child at Disneyland a few times a year. Basically, I love anything that keeps me in the outdoors.
Marisa Treatment Coordinator and Community Outreach Coordinator
I have been working for Dr. Defay since May of 2013, and I LOVE my job and coworkers. When you come into the office I will be the first person you work with. I have the opportunity to meet all of our new patients and get them started with their orthodontic journey. I also coordinate our kids club and all of our community outreach. I graduated from Utah State University in 2013 with my Bachelors in Public Relations. I love that I get to utilize all that I learned in school for this wonderful job. I also have the opportunity to work with many of the local schools whether it is by bringing 3rd graders for field trips to our office or recognizing students for being outstanding leaders and citizens in their school. It is great to work for a business that cares about education and the students and people in our community.
In my spare time, I love to be with my sweet husband Mallin. We spend a lot of our time camping, riding four-wheelers, snowboarding or watching a good action movie. I also have a very sincere love for singing.
Capri Fullmer Clinical Assistant
Cheryl Lab Technician
After my first visit to Dr. Rampton’s office, I left knowing it would be a wonderful place to work! I got lucky and was able to join the team in 1990. My first years were spent as a Clinical Assistant. Then I made the move to the lab, where I enjoy the challenge of fabricating retainers and appliances for our patients. I take pride in my work and in the contribution it makes to our patients’ treatment.
In my spare time, I like to kick back and enjoy life — whatever the day has to offer — spending time with family, friends, and tending my flowers.
LeAnn Scheduling Coordinator
I am the office’s scheduling coordinator. I have been with the practice since 1990. It is my responsibility to schedule patients’ appointments, take phone calls, and do many other things to help our practice run smoothly. I also spend time each week working with our new patients in the role of back-up treatment coordinator. One of my favorite aspects of working at Defay Orthodontics is getting to know the patients and their families. I feel very fortunate to be working with Dr. Defay and our very qualified and fun staff.
When I am not at the office, I enjoy being with my family, which consists of my husband, our four children and their spouses, and our 11 grandchildren, along with our dog, Bogart. I enjoy singing, reading, mountain biking, and water-skiing.
Jasmine Adams Clinical Assistant
I have been working for Dr. Defay since August of 2013, and I have loved every day of it. I love working with the rest of the staff because they are all so friendly and are very easy to get along with. I enjoy getting to know all of the patients and seeing them grow, change, and progress throughout their treatment. It is fun to see how their smiles and confidence improve over time. I look forward to many more years working here with the rest of the team.
During my down time I like to spend time with my husband, Brandon, doing things outside. I enjoy going boating during the summer, spending time at our family cabin during the winter and everything in-between. I have one little dog name Thor who always keeps me laughing and a sweet little boy named Jace. I like to visit my family in Idaho and spend time with my nieces and nephew.
Penney Clinical Assistant
I started working at the office in 2005 and truly enjoy my job as one of Dr. Defays chair side assistants. I love working with our patients to improve their smiles and I believe that their quality of life can improve at the same time! It’s very rewarding to see that kind of change! Our team works hard to maintain an environment that is friendly and professional, and it is a pleasure to be a part of such a great practice!
In my spare time, I enjoy water sports, reading, taking walks and relaxing with my family.
Sarah Clinical Assistant and Administrative Assistant
I first got to know Dr. Rampton and his wonderful team in 1998 when I decided it was time to take the plunge and get braces. I was constantly impressed with the quality of the service I received and the organization of the office. His staff were all very friendly and I immediately felt at ease. I am now thrilled and privileged to be one of the team, having joined Dr. Rampton’s staff in May 2005 and now Dr. Defay’s team. I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable, rewarding job, and better people to work with.
I am the mom of 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. They are the joy in my life. I love to spend time with them and my husband. When I am not with my family, I like to read, watch movies, travel, digital scrapbook, sleep, go to lunch with my friends, and spend time in my garden.
